About us
Two friends, one shared dream
Portal de Paz was born from the friendship of Michelle and Matt. Two friends with a clear dream: to open a space in Mindo where healing, movement and community meet under one bamboo roof, in the heart of Ecuador's cloud forest.
In August 2026 we signed the contract on our space, and the very same day the first classes were held. Today the portal is open: yoga, meditation, reiki, sound bowls, pilates, movement circuits and individual healing sessions. Local and international facilitators rent the main hall or session room; we care for the place and connect people seeking practice with those who offer their gift.
Mindo is cloud forest, butterflies and hummingbirds. We want Portal de Paz to be an accessible meeting point: register free for classes and pay at the door, or book therapies directly with each facilitator. No payment middleman: transparency and human relationship first.
We do not invent credentials or miracle claims. We are co-founders building a real space, with public facilitator profiles, a living schedule and an open contact channel. Whether you are visiting or you live here, you are welcome.
How to trust the portal
- Each facilitator publishes their own profile, modalities and contact path.
- Classes appear on the calendar; you register online and pay at the door as each event indicates.
- Therapies are scheduled and paid directly with the practitioner. Portal de Paz is the space, not the middleman.
